Started our 128 km day off in the rain. We got on a really nice trail all the way to Canmore. Spent the rest of the time on highway 1 and biked right out of the mountains. The terrain changed dramatically to flat green fields. It was almost sad to look back and see the mountains get farther and farther away. But wait, that means things are getting flatter. Yahoo! The worst is over. Arrived in Calgary and met our new warm showers hosts Cathy and Lee. Had a great supper and a great bed to sleep in. Very nice to have after such a long day.
