Woke up early to start a long day to Bassano. The traffic was crazy. We did bike along a very nice path on our way out of Calgary. It was such a peaceful ride when we got out of the city. Peddled into a bit of a headwind along this new terrain, the flat praires. A different kind of beauty than the rocky mountains. Didn't make it to Bassano, but instead, stayed at the travel lodge in Strathmore. Great hotel with a hot tub and a speedy waterslide. Awesome bed to sleep in.
